Our Vision

Facilitate an opportunity for education and enhancing the STEM careers among the girls in our community to make our world a better place to live. Each girl deserves the right to learn and lead their lives successfully.

History

As a kid in middle school, I always thought of the verses, "If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation" and used to admire the youngest Nobel Prize laureate ever, Malala Yousafzai. She was only 17 years old when she received the 2014 peace prize. After being shot three times for speaking up for girls' right to education, Malala keeps fighting for education for all.” Till date I was on an intuition that every kid is being rightfully educated, irrespective of the gender.

According to the statistics of Global development Commons-UNICEF, https://gdc.unicef.org/, “around the world, 129 million girls are out of school, including 32 million of primary school age, 30 million of lower-secondary school age, and 67 million of upper-secondary school age”.

Another study shows that the infant mortality rate of babies whose mothers have received primary education is half that of children whose mothers are illiterate.

As school kids, education for girls is a must irrespective of who they are and what they are as it plays a major vital role in improving the health and economic future of young women and this helped me in the formation of the organization, Education4Girls, to uplift the education and encourage girls to take up more STEM related courses for a better career.
